Two Button Mouse

As a new Mac owner, do yourself a favor right away and get a two button wheel mouse. The MacGeezers love Macs, but quite frankly all Apple mice pale in comparison to a two button mouse. Without a two button mouse you will have to hold down the Control key as you click to get the functionality you’re used to with a right click. Here’s the “Cadillac”. Yes, it is expensive - but worth it.


External Hard Drives

Here are drives we have used and recommend. Remember these are examples, the size drive you will need depends on the size of your built in drive. You should try to get an external drive that is twice the size of your internal drive if your going to use Time Machine a your backup, or the same size if using a third party backup solution such as Super Duper.
