If you’ve just switched to Macs from Windows, or are getting ready to switch, you will notice that windows do not function the way they do in Windows. Here’s a short video to show you some of the differences.
Exiting Applications
When I switched to the Mac from Windows, one of the first things I noticed about the environment was that exiting an application was different. In Windows, I was used to closing a window and assuming the application was actually closed. Not so on the Mac. Here’s a two-minute drill version screencast demonstrating the difference:
